Derniers épisodes de My Gimpy Life, The Flog, Tabletop et Save the Supers

Cette semaine est une très bonne semaine sur le front des web séries. Elle sont toutes excellentes et il n'y a rien à jeter. A noter l'omniprésence de Felicia Day qui, décidemment, est partout.

My Gimpy Life S01E04 : Crowded/Encombré

Sujet : envie pressante et déplacement dans un espace encombré. Teal se rend à un blind date et non pas a date with a blind. Elle se retrouve dans un de ces restaurants où on privilégie le nombre de couverts au détriment de la place pour se déplacer. Evidemment cela est très problématique quand vous avez une chaise roulante et ... une envie de pisser. Le problème augmente quand un valide utilise les toilettes handicapé pour "avoir de l'espace".

Casting : en guest star Felicia Day dans un rôle qu'elle affectionne bien à savoir tenir des propos sexuels sans avoir l'air d'y toucher. Le dialogue du début de l'épisode tourne autour de la question de la forme d'un pénis de werecat (c'est l'équivalent du lycanthrope mais avec un chat - si vous avez le nom- n'hésitez pas à le donner-). A noter que la sonnerie de son téléphone est le thème de The Guild.

Mon avis : On continue dans l'excellence. Le dialogue du début est un petit bijou. Même les détails (comme la musique d'ambiance dans le restaurant) sont très bien trouvés. Du travail de pro.

Sujet : Felicai Day va s'initier au tir à l'arc. Le maître d'arme n'a pas tout à fait la stature que l'on peut imaginer. J'aime son regard ahuri quand Felicia lui parle de Mass Effect. A priori il ne connait pas le jeu vidéo.

Casting: Morgan Webb (curieusement contrairement à ce que peut faire penser son prénom c'est une fille)

Mon avis: il n'y a rien à faire j'adore entre le début du Concerto Brandebourgeois N°4. On revient à ce qui fait réellement le charme du Flog à savoir Felicia Day s'adonnant à une activité amusante en bonne compagnie. C'est l'occasion de la revoir avec ses oreilles d'elfe qui lui vont si bien.

Table Top épisode 11 : Elder Sign

Sujet : Ceux qui aiment l'oeuvre de Lovecraft et notamment Cthulhu adoreront ce jeu. C'est un jeu de dé coopératif. Les joueurs font équipe et doivent collecter des signes pour empêcher un vilain de se réveiller. Celui-ci gagne des points sur les échecs des membres de l'équipe.

Casting : Felicia Day (pas besoin de la présenter), Bill Pardy (producteur de ma série favorite The Big Bang Theory), Mike Morhaime (?)

Mon avis: il n'y a pas à dire, l'intérêt de ce show tient non seulement au jeu lui même mais aussi au casting. Celui de cette semaine est sans commentaire une fois que l'on sait qu'il y a une de mes actrices favorites et le producteur de ma série préférée. Le côté drôle vient du fait que Will Wheaton joue un personnage féminin (très mauvais d'ailleurs car cela sera le seul à mourrir dans le jeu). Les deux séquences "Girl Power" et "Tentacle" valent le détours. Un épisode à voir absolument.

Save the Supers S01E04 : The Super Force vs Teens

Sujet : L'équipe de Super Force se rend dans un lycée pour enseigner la bonne parole. Worldmand trouve malin d'amener un vilain, Bombardier, dans l'école. Evidemment celui-ci en pose de nombreuses dans l'école. Heureusement ce sont des bombes de confettis. Un cameo de Felicia Day en Panthera pour que celle-ci soit visible dans toutes les séries du week end


Casting: Night Knight - Max Bird-Ridnell, Fleet Foot - Jordan Black, World Man - Mickey Hawtrey, Elementra - Mandell Maughan, Merman - Sandeep Parikh


Mon avis: La série a atteint sa vitesse de croisière. Alors que l'on s'attend à des affrontements entre super-héros et super-vilains, le décor d'un lycée est bien trouvé. Avec peu de moyens (comparé à Avengers bien sûr), la série arrive à posséder des effets spéciaux comme l'arrivée de l'avion invisible d'Elementra (hilarant). L'idée d'une association de Super-vilains Anonymes est très drôle. De toutes façons, l'ensemble de la série est drôle.

Obviously this is very problematic when you have a wheelchair and ... need to pee. The problem increases when a stall for disabled is used by a valid for "having more space". 

Starring: Felicia Day guest star in a role she likes ie talking about sexual conduct without seeming to touch it. The dialogue at the beginning of the episode revolves around the question of the shape of a penis werecat (this is the equivalent of lycanthrope but with a cat ). Note that her phone tone is the theme of The Guild. 

My opinion: It continues in excellency. The dialogue at the beginning is a little gem. Even details (such as background music in the restaurant) are very well found. State of the art.

Subject: Felicia Day will begin at archery. The weapon master is not quite the stature that we can imagine in a archery master. I love his look bewildered when Felicia told him about Mass Effect. A priori it does not know the game.
  
Cast: Morgan Webb (curiously contrary to what the first name may suggest she's a girl)

 My opinion: I love the beginning of the Brandenburg Concerto No. 4. Returning to what really is the charm of Flog namely Felicia Day engaged in a fun activity in good company. This is an opportunity to see her wearing elf ears that fit him so well. 

Table Top Episode 11: Elder Sign

Subject: Those who love the work of Lovecraft and especially Cthulhu will  love this game This is a cooperative dice game. The players team-up and must collectelder signs to prevent a nasty villain to wake up. The monster earns points with the failures of the team.

Starring: Felicia Day (no need to present), Bill Pardy (producer of my favorite serie The Big Bang Theory), Mike Morhaime (?)

My opinion: there is no doubt, the success of this show is not only the game itself but also in the cast. I won't do any comment about it once we know that there are one of my favorite actresses and the producer of my favorite series. The funny side is that Will Wheaton play a female character (also very bad because it will be the only character to die in the game). The two sequences "Girl Power" and "Tentacle" are worth the trip. A must see episode.

Save the Supers S01E04: The Super Force vs. Teens

Subject: Team Super Force goes to a school to teach the student to follow the good path. Worldmand find smart to bring a villain, Bombardier, in the school. Obviously the villain put many bombs in the school. Fortunately they are fun bombs. A cameo in Felicia Day Panthera completes her visibility in all series of weekend

My opinion: The series has reached its cruising speed. While it is expected clashes between heroes and villains, setting the show in a school is fun. With limited resources (compared with Avengers of course), the series happens to have special effects such as the arrival of Elementra's invisible aircraft   (hilarious). The idea of Super-Villains Anonymous also is very funny. Anyway the whole show is funny.
